The pant features a durable 300D polyester shell with HydrX laminate providing 5,000mm waterproof and 5,000g/m² breathable protection. High-wear areas at the knees, instep, and hem are reinforced with 450D fabric for extended durability. F.A.S.T. 3.0 insulation combines 210g of F.A.S.T. and FXR Thermal Flex insulation for warmth, while thermal seat, dry seat, and dry knee inserts add strategic protection. The smooth nylon taffeta lining ensures comfortable wear. YKK zippers are used throughout, including a front zipper with placket and snap closure, plus knee-height leg zippers for easy on/off over boots. An adjustable waist system and adjustable/removable suspenders allow for a custom fit that grows with the child. Boot storm cuffs with snap closures and front boot lace retention snaps keep snow out, while back leg length adjusters extend the pant's usable life. 3M Scotchlite reflective details at the back leg enhance visibility in low light.
